Neville Brownlee is head of compliance monitoring at the Charity Commission where he has worked for 23 years. During this time he has worked in a number of roles including head of registration, charity support manager and senior case officer, before joining the policy directorate as head of research reports in 2001.
In this role Brownlee established and delivered the Commission Reports Programme before taking up the position of head of charity effectiveness in 2006, followed by his promotion to head of compliance, monitoring, assessment and outreach.
Outside of work he is a member of the North West Committee for the Heritage Lottery Fund.
