Mike Parker
Mike Parker CBE is renowned in the business community as current chair of Liverpool's economic development and regeneration company Liverpool Vision, and more notably as former group chief executive of British Nuclear Fuels (BNFL, 2003-2009) and former CEO and president of the Dow Chemical Company (where he worked for 35 years in different roles).
But he has also contributed significantly to the charity sector on a voluntary basis as a trustee of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents which he joined in 2009.
In June 2010 he was also appointed as chairman of Street League, which works with some of the country's most disadvantaged young people to deliver football and educational programmes to help them back into work, education or training.
