Mike Palfreman

Mike Palfreman was appointed chief executive of Haven House Children’s Hospice in June 2011, taking over from Ian Sparks OBE. The hospice cares for children and young people between the ages of 0 to 19 who have life-limiting conditions and who are unlikely to reach adulthood.

Prior to this role Mike was interim director of fundraising at Help the Hospices from Feb 2010 - May 2011, which followed his role as CEO of Age Concern Havering, a position he held for almost 5 years.

He has also held various senior positions at the RNIB where he worked for six and a half years before becoming director of fundraising at the Princess Royal Trust for Carers from 2000 - 2005.
