Mike Gale

Volunteering strategy manager, NCT from October 2011

As of October 2011 Mike Gale is the volunteering strategy manager at the parenting charity, NCT. He is also a director of the Association of Voluntary Managers.

He joined NCT from Volunteering England where he co-ordinated media coverage for Volunteers’ Week 2011.

He has been involved in the sector since 1997 at organisations including the Children’s Society, Surestart, Age UK and the Mentoring and Befriending Foundation as well as community groups. He has also been employed as a consultant for the London Ambassadors 2012 volunteer programme and the new national apprenticeship in volunteer management.
