Matthew Reed

Matthew Reed was appointed as chief executive of the Children's Society in February 2012 and will take up the position in May 2012. Between September 2010 and February 2012 he was a trustee and chair of the fundraising committee.

He has been the chief executive of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust since September 2010.

Mr Reed’s previous role was marketing and supporter care director at Christian Aid.

Before joining Christian Aid in 2002 Matthew was an Anglican parish priest. He has degrees in engineering, theology and management.
