Martin Dalby

Martin Dalby is finance director at Penrose, a charity working with ex-offenders and people with mental illness since 1968.

As an experienced finance director in housing and construction in the commercial sector Martin found a natural move to the not-for-profit sector in 2003 by taking a non-executive role with Sutherland HA, part of Genesis where he was also on the audit and risk committee.

He has held director of finance roles with Servite Houses, The Abbeyfield Society, and Central & Cecil Housing Trust.  In all these organisations he restructured the finance and accounts and IT departments, implemented new software systems, and renegotiated bank loans.
