Mark Lever has been chief executive of the National Autistic Society (NAS) since February 2008. He chairs a working group of autism charities on the government's proposed adult autism strategy.
Prior to joining the NAS, Lever spent 12 years at WRVS, rising from director of training to the chief executive post in 2002. He is a fully qualified accountant by profession and also holds qualifications in business management, HR and marketing.
