Luke Fletcher is an associate in the social finance group at the law firm Bates, Wells & Braithwaite.
 
Luke trained at White & Case, a leading international financial law firm, where he worked on a number of the world's largest and most innovative international capital markets, bank finance, corporate finance and project finance transactions.
 
Since joining Bates Wells & Braithwaite in 2007, Luke has combined a general charity and social enterprise legal practice with a growing focus on social finance. Luke's work involves advising on the full range of social finance related activities and transactions, including secured and unsecured lending, tiered financing arrangements, structured equity and corporate finance transactions, fund establishment, intermediary activity, financial services and public investment offerings.
 
Luke is the author of Investing in Civil Society: A framework for a bespoke regulatory regime, published by Nesta.
