Liz Atkins

Until May 2010 Liz Atkins was the director of policy at the National Council of Voluntary Organizations (NCVO), where she lead a number of teams: research, policy, communications and campaigns, the Campaigning Effectiveness Programme, and partnerships - collaborative working.

Prior to joining NCVO, Atkins spent time with the National Housing Federation as director of strategy and communications, and as head of policy and public affairs at the NSPCC.

Earlier in her career, she campaigned for the Post Office, the Co-operative Union and the Labour Party.
