Julie Dawson

Julie Dawson was appointed as chief operating officer at Localgiving.com in March 2011 after over 20 years experience in the technology sector.

Julie managed B2B marketing and strategy teams for Computer Science Corporation and Barclays. Her entrepreneurial streak drove her to work across Europe setting up operations for early stage ventures Madge Networks and Civista. After working as a consultant to eBay, Julie founded the first auction management company in the UK, using the eBay for Charity platform.

Julie read International Business Studies at ESCP (Paris), did an Executive MBA at the London Business School and holds the CIM Diploma. She is a trustee at Youthnet.
