Jo Ensor

Director of philanthropy development , Charities Aid Foundation

Jo Ensor was promoted into the new role of director of philanthropy development at CAF in the summer of 2011 after 18 months as head of its advosiry and consulting service.

She joined CAF in March 2010 from Amref UK, the UK branch of the African healthcare charity, where she was chief executive.

Previously she had been director of programmes at EveryChild, head of programme development and funding at VSO and head of community investment at Linklaters.

In her current post, Jo is responsible for facilitating and supporting individual and corporate philanthropy. This covers client relations (trusts), client relations (companies), advisory and consulting, and the international secretariat.
