Grahame Paterson

Grahame Paterson is chief executive of Scottish youth charity Transition Extreme.

With roots in hospitality, graduating from Napier University in Edinburgh with a BA distinction in hospitality (tourism management), Grahame has become a senior civil society manager with a strong background in leadership and organisational development. He was 2004 Ernst & Young Scottish Social Entrepreneur of the Year finalist for the Member Institute of Leadership and Management (MInstLM).

He is currently a volunteer advisor to Pilotlight Scotland, the Fashion Rocks Foundation, Education for the Children Foundation and the Sir Thomas Lipton Foundation.

Married with a young daughter, Grahame has interests in literature, sport, and in trying to finish building a family home in the South Tatra’s ski resort of Zakopane.
