Hilary Leevers

Head of education and learning, Wellcome Trust from September 2011

Dr Hilary Leevers was appointed to the UK's largest medical research charity, the Wellcome Trust, in August 2011 as its head of education and learning, commencing in September.

She joined from the Campaign for Science and Engineering (CaSE) where she had been assistant director since 2007 and spent a brief spell as director.

Hilary has a PhD in developmental psychology from Oxford University and a degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University. 

She has also spent time in the United States running a variety of research projects for Newark's Rutgers University.
