Daphne Harris

Daphne has volunteered for the RSPCA for almost forty years, first joining in 1973 and becoming chair of its board in 2008.

In 1998 she became honorary chairman of the Mid-Kent and Maidstone branch, which became the Tunbridge Wells & Maidstone branch in 2003. In 1994 she was elected to the council as deputy treasurer.

Daphne has a passion for animals and has been a branch dog reformer for 35 years as well as sheltering unwanted cats and kittens.
