Claris joined the Wrigleys charity team in January 2010.

Previous experience includes being an in-house legal adviser for Interchange Trust, a registered charity and a legal adviser to the Charity Commissioners and Assistant Charity Commissioner.  She has also been a senior associate and charities consultant at Wilsons following six years as head of the charities team, and more latterly a consultant, at Dickinson Dees.

She advises on all aspects of charity law including mergers, incorporations, collaborative working, governance issues, dissolutions, charity formations, public benefit and dealing with the Charity Commission.
