Anna Southall

Anna Southall is a trustee of the Barrow Cadbury Trust and Fund, a charitable foundation promoting social justice, which she chaired from 1996 to 2006. She is ‘lead trustee’ for the Trust’s young Adults and Criminal Justice programme.

Past roles have included chief executive at Resource: The Council for Museums, Archives and Libraries, and before that director of the National Museums and Galleries of Wales (1998-2002).  Anna is a member of the Advisory Panel on Futurebuilders, and of the Executive Committee of the Association of Charitable Foundations.  She also serves on the Spoliation Advisory Panel and was appointed as acting chair for the Big Lottery Fund in 2010.

BIG to start distributing £5m of dormant account money to social investment projects in July

The Big Lottery Fund will support around five social investment projects with a £5m pot of dormant account fund money while the Big Society Bank awaits approval from the European Commission. It will make the first investment as early as July this year.
