Amanda Bringans is director of fundraising at Macmillan Cancer Support. She first joined Macmillan as corporate fundraiser in 1995 and then became head of fundraising for the London, Anglia and South East Region. After a secondment for a year as interim head of brand management she took up the post of deputy director of fundraising.
Bringans began her career in advertising and marketing at Thompson Regional Newspapers, Television South West, and TVam. She became a mature student in 1989 to study for an honours degree in English Literature at Goldsmiths College, and then moved into the voluntary sector.
