Alison Garnham

Alison joined the Child Poverty Action Group in September 2010 when she was appointed as chief executive following four years as CEO of the Daycare Trust.

Prior to that she was director of policy, research and information at One Parent Families (now Gingerbread).

In her early career she worked as a training officer at CPAG and also as a welfare rights officer with Citizens Advice.

Alison has a strong policy background and is a well published author of articles on child poverty policy and related issues.
