Simon Hebditch
Simon Hebditch has worked in the voluntary and community sector for many years, specialising in policy analysis, strategic planning, campaigning and external relations.
Most recently, he was the first chief executive of Capacitybuilders from February 2006 to March 2008. Previously, Hebditch had been external affairs director of the Charities Aid Foundation and assistant director of NCVO.
Simon is currently a freelance consultant and has participated in a project for the Commission for the Compact looking at European funding conditions and the relationship with Compact principles.

It was only a matter of time before someone picked up on expenses in the charity sector.
Former Capacitybuilders chief executive Simon Hebditch has joined the trustee board of Charity Trustee Networks, the national umbrella organisation for trustees and management committee members.
As well as a promise to reintroduce the Charities Bill in the first Queen's speech of a new parliament after the general election, sector bodies have outlined their wishlist for the new government.

The NCVO is to lead two of the new government-funded National Support Services being established by Capacitybuilders to replace the controversial ChangeUp hubs.
The news that three of the sector's big representative bodies have made a commitment to sharing office premises will come as little surprise to some.
The hub structure will remain in place until 1 June 2007 even if Capacitybuilders decides to shrink their remit and take on their commissioning powers itself.
It's been a rocky and controversial ride for the hubs, set up by the government under the ChangeUp programme to help develop and support infrastructure in the voluntary sector across six areas of activity.
Capacitybuilders is expected to announce this month that at least some of the six hubs of expertise set up under the ChangeUp programme will be scrapped.
