Peter Mitchell
Chief executive, CAF Bank
Peter became chief executive of CAF Bank in 2008 having joined CAF in 2000 since which time he has held a number of financial roles in the organisation including chief operating officer of CAF Bank and director of operations for the Foundation’s Charity Financial Services division.
With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry Peter has covered all the main areas of retail banking, including the personal, corporate and international business sectors – gained over more than 20 years working for the Barclays Group. He is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
CAF Bank is the specialist banking arm of the Charities Aid Foundation and manages over £1bn of charitable funds and provides free day-to-day banking and savings accounts for charities.
