Chief executive, Charity Bank Ltd from November 2012

Patrick Crawford will become the second chief executive of Charity Bank on 19 November 2012.

He has been chief executive of UK Export Finance, the government department that acts as the UK’s export credit agency, since 2004 and is a former head of project and export finance at Deutsche Bank. He has also been managing director at Emerging Africa Advisers, Standard Bank London, which was the principle advisor to the fund manager of the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund.

Initially he qualified as a barrister before following a career in banking.
