Brendan Gormley
Brendan Gormley is the chief executive of the Disasters Emergency Committee, the organisation responsible for raising funds in response to major disasters worldwide.
He joined the DEC in 2000, after being Oxfam’s Africa director in the 1990s. He also has an extensive background in development programmes for agropastoral and urban renewal issues. He is a trustee of One World Media and the Noel-Buxton Trust.
