Bill Cottle

After ten years in auditing in London and the Middle East, Bill Cottle joined the charity sector in 1988 as head of management services responsible for finance, facilities, personnel and customer service at Unicef UK, one of the 36 National Committees in the Unicef family. 

Then Unicef UK was a small charity which Bill has seen grow from strength to strength.  He has played a key role at Ubicef UK and has been closely involved in all the strategies and action which have seen voluntary income grow from £4m to £45m. 

He has also worked closely with other Unicef offices and was a key player in the development of common financial reporting to Unicef headquarters, providing vital information tools for benchmarking, understanding and decision making. 

Bill is now the deputy executive director finance & services heading up finance, people & development, facilities management, supporter services and IT.
