Budgeting is a plan for saving and spending.

The purpose of budgeting is to provide a forecast of revenues and expenditure to construct a model of how an organisation might perform financially if certain strategies, events and plans are carried out.

The Charity IT Survey 2009 allows charities of all shapes and sizes to benchmark themselves against their peers. Once again, the benefit of data integration across departments is highlighted, especially in the context of web based solutions. Bliss SMS helpline emails parents text to whole support team

Bliss has responded to in-house research highlighting text messaging as its beneficiaries’ preferred communication method by launching ‘Blisstext’ - a new text messaging helpline option. The special care baby charity enlisted the help of web-based text messaging solutions company, Text Messaging Centre (TMC) to allow young parents and families looking after babies requiring special care to stay in touch with Bliss via text.
