Amanda McLean

Amanda McLean

Amanda joined the Institute of Fundraising as CEO in November 2010 after two years working with Prostate UK in the same post but resigned in March 2011 citing a desire for a better work/life balance and to regain a direct connection with a specific charitable cause.

Amanda studied Law at St. Hilda’s College, Oxford and started her career in the voluntary sector as a charity fundraiser with Action for Children in 1994.

She later worked as director of fundraising and communications with DebRA UK between 2006 and 2008.
