Ruth Ruderham became director of fundraising at British Waterways after spending three years as head of fundraising at Christian Aid, where she joined in the summer of 2008. Prior to this she was head of supporter development at Friends of the Earth.  She was Fundraising magazine's (then PF) Fundraiser of the Year Award winner in 2005.
