NCVO and Compact Voice have launched a scheme in which voluntary sector staff swap jobs with central government staff for a day.
‘A Day in the Life’, which begins this September, follows on from a pilot last year in which 100 charity staff swapped roles with people working in the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG). Over 82 per cent found the scheme useful.
A number of government departments will be taking part, including the DCLG, Home Office, Ministry of Justice and Office of Government Commerce (OGC).
The closing date for applications is this Friday 16 July.
