Jasmine Whitbread has been appointed the first international chief executive for Save the Children, a new role which will bring all of Save the Children’s 29 independent member organisations under one umbrella led by an international board.
Whitbread, who has been chief executive of Save the Children UK for the past five years, said: “I believe that together we have an opportunity to recreate Save the Children as a truly 21st century organisation, enabling people who want to see a change in children’s lives to engage with world class and highly efficient programming.”
Save the Children UK is looking for a new chief executive to replace Whitbread.
