INTERIGHTS has appointed Danny Silverstone as its next executive director.
Silverstone (pictured) takes over from the organisation’s chair Jeremy McBride who has been acting as interim executive director.
Silverstone's previous roles include chief executive of the former Commission for Racial Equality, chief executive of London Remade, and many other senior-level local government roles in education, diversity and human resource.
Commenting on the appointment, Silverstone said: “I am very pleased to have the opportunity to lead such a dynamic human rights organisation.
“I look forward to working with both staff and Board colleagues to ensure INTERIGHTS can capitalise on recent achievements and continue the work for which it is so highly regarded.”
