David Maloney has been appointed chairman of Make-A-Wish, the charity which grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. The charity is currently celebrating its 21st anniversary year.
David comes from Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire and is married with one son. After a successful career in finance in the travel and leisure sector, including working for Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts, Thomson Travel Group and Avis Europe, David has joined the board of a number of companies in a variety of industries as a non executive director.
