Chief executive, Small Charities Coalition
Alex Swallow is chief executive of the Small Charities Coalition and founder of Young Charity Trustees.
He is previous co-vice chair at an Islington charity, Centre 404, where he remains as trustee. His involvement in the charity was his inspiration for launching the YCT group, which promotes and supports young people of charity boards.
Alex also worked for the small national charity, the National Benevolent Fund for the Aged, in fundraising and communications for three and a half years.
Previously he has been a private tutor, an intern for two MPs, a teacher for two years in Japan, and studied at Cambridge and Sussex Universities.
