Blogging is no longer the pursuit of the outspoken, shielding behind avatars - it's the realm of the informed professional, and your views are wanted...
There once was a time when blogging was an underground activity, undertaken by lonely characters staring at green screens until their eyes turned red, typing up a storm over whatever injustices they may have perceived on a daily basis. Then came social media, and we all became bloggers, in our own way, fastidiously documenting our daily movements, beliefs, objections and 'likes'.
It can be hard to identify the needle of quality in the haystack of frivolous opinion. But that is exactly what the civilsociety.co.uk community does. By inviting a network of charity sector professionals to express their opinions through our site, we provide quality, relevant and thought-provoking comment from those 'in the know', about matters that count to our users.
If you are an expert in your field, working in the charity sector we want to hear your opinions! We realise blogging can be a daunting experience, especially if you've never done it before. That's why we have produced this bloggers guide (below), to answer some of the most common questions our bloggers ask us.
If you have any questions that this guide doesn't answer, just get in touch! We'd love to hear from you. Just email nikimay.young@civilsociety.co.uk
