Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme 'too complex to have real impact'

The Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme is welcome, but will only be effective if it is made less complex...
Fundraising magazine has opened up its annual 50 Most Influential poll to find the most influential people in fundraising in 2011.
In a profession which is defined by its ability to persuade and inspire, Fundraising is keen to find out who inspires the ‘inspirers’.
To have your say in who influences you in your fundraising, list your favourites in this survey here.
In recent years the poll has brought up campaigns to have ‘the donor’ ranked first, while last year Public Fundraising Regulatory Association chief executive Mick Aldridge took the top spot. Politicians, gurus, coal-face fundraisers, entrepreneurs - anyone is elligible.
Results will be published in the July issue of Fundraising magazine.
And just a word of warning Fundraising does not look kindly upon ballot stuffing.
