Big Lottery Fund goes live on the web

Charities will be able to directly question Big Lottery Fund chief executive Sir Clive Booth about the organisation's future during a live web debate.

The live web-chat forms part of a three month ‘big thinking’ consultation which closes at the end of February, and Big is encouraging charities of all sizes to participate in the session on Thursday 5 February between 1:30pm and 3:30pm.

Sir Clive says the consultation will shape the Big Lottery's funding framework for the next six years, during which time it is expected to give away more than £2bn.

He said: “We are striving to make the most of the money we have available to us, ensuring the fund can continue its mission to improve lives and communities in the best possible way – so its vital that all those who have benefited or hope to benefit from lottery good cause funding give us their view.”
