i-volunteer has launched a micro-volunteering campaign, which will highlight how someone can volunteer with a PC or mobile phone in around half an hour.
‘Try Something New in the Bedroom’ will feature information on undertaking bite-sized actions such as leaving uplifting comments on a website for those in need, audio recording a chapter of a book online or knitting hats for Innocent Drinks, which donates some proceeds of behatted drinks to Age UK.
i-volunteer founder Jamie Thomas said: “Micro-volunteering is something that anyone with a PC or a mobile phone can do with just a few minutes of spare time. The UK will need more volunteers than ever to support the Big Society and so we want to show people how getting involved can be both fun and easy."
