Macmillan has decided to make finding good coffee easier via a new iPhone app designed to promote tomorrow’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Launched on Tuesday, the Macmillan Coffee Finder enables iPhone users to locate the nearest and best café to them and encourages them to submit suggestions for inclusion. There are currently over 900 cafés and coffee shops in the navigation.
The app is free to download, and Macmillan is hoping it will raise awareness of the coffee morning and encourage donations, possible via texting Macmillan.
There are yet no figures on how many users have downloaded the app.
