The Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme is welcome, but will only be effective if it is made less complex...
Hopeless romantics favourite publisher Mills & Boon has released a novel with the National Trust.
Scandalous Innocent, is set in the grounds of the Trust's Ham House, and commemorates the 400th anniversary of the property.
It describes itself as the story of two women, two generations apart, both on the brink of scandal and promises history, romance, gorgeous outfits, decadent settings and of course passionate and scandalous encounters.
Mills & Boon will be donating 50p from each copy sold to the National Trust, which is raising money for the restoration of rare silk hangings at Ham House.
