Social exclusion charity P3 has taken been named the best mid-sized company to work for in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies list; the first time a charity has taken out poll position in the list's ten-year history.
The list, published yesterday, features a number of charity debuts, including that of P3. The Sandwell Community Trust, a charity and social enterprise working in personal care, clocked in at number 11, with and social exclusion charities Foundation and Fairbridge debuting at 26 and 43 respectively.
Rounding out the charity representation on the list is You, which began life as the Portsmouth Housing Trust and now works with the disabled, socially-excluded and homeless, and which debuted in 96th position.
Housing associations were well represented in the Sunday Times list, with 14 such organisations listed in the poll. The best-placed among them was the New Charity Housing Trust Group, which moved.
