The Private Equity Foundation has made its first co-investment, joining with European buyout firm Cinven to provide £265,000 to one of its portfolio charities, School-Home Support.
Of the donation, £165,000 was provided by PEF and £100,000 by Cinven. PEF has now donated more than £900,000 to School-Home Support.
Shaks Ghosh (pictured), chief executive of PEF, said: “This is PEF’s first co-investment and we would like to take this opportunity to thank the Cinven Foundation for joining us in backing SHS.
“The amount raised is enabling the building blocks to be put in place for literally thousands more children to benefit from the charity’s groundbreaking work.”
School-Home Support is a national charity that sends qualified practitioners into schools to help those pupils and their families that need extra support.
