Farm Africa has used social media to launch a quirky fundraising campaign called ‘Pimp this Goat’.
The campaign, which launched on 29 October, sparked a frenzy of activity on the social networking site Twitter.
‘Pimp this Goat’ asks supporters for a £5 donation, £7 if they are non-UK residents, and in return they are mailed a model goat. Supporters then decorate the goat, by painting, clothing or accessorising the miniature figures, and upload a picture of their ‘pimped’ goat to a Flickr group created by Farm Africa.
