Anyone who was ever a child will know that Lego pieces necessarily end up in the strangest of places, but a new charity calendar has taken the little plastic men on altogether new adventures.
As part of a two-year charity partnership with the National Autistic Society, Lego has released a fundraising calendar for 2010.
But, the toy maker has not been kind to its own, inanimate creations. Frozen in refrigerators in January (pictured), losing legs in football and due for a crushing by a tennis ball, the little men have a tough time of it in 2010.
No fundraising target has been set for the calendars, but Lego aims to have raised £80,000 for the charity by the end of the partnership.
Professional Fundraising is this year launching two charity calendar competitions.
We are looking for the Charity Calendar of the Year 2010. Send in your calendars in PDF or hard copy (see here for details) for a chance for your calendar to be crowned the best of the year.
And, PF has joined with Picture Giving to offer 500 free calendars to the organisation with the best calendar idea.
