Cancer Research UK is on the search for 7,000 volunteers to take part in a weekend of charity collections in Tesco stores throughout the UK.
Cancer Research was chosen by Tesco as its charity of the year for 2012 and hopes to raise £10m throughout the year. On the weekend of 26 - 18 October the charity will hold its Every Penny Counts Big Tesco Cash Collections Weekend with an aim of collecting a total of £500,000 towards that target from 800 stores around the UK.
The charity is asking for volunteers who are "enthusiastic and friendly" and who "enjoy being part of a team and working within their local community".
The 7,000 volunteers will be required to dedicate at least three hours of time shaking a bucket outside their local Tesco store, based on their postcode. Collections will take place between 9am and 6pm.

Jesus Christ, how does a publication that focuses on the charity world not know that SHAKING collection tins is not allowed and not acceptable??
Do you have a clue what you are writing about?
