If you meant to bid on Jimmy Carr’s 13-ft-high head but forgot, don’t fret – you’ve got a second chance.

The eBay charity auction for a 13-ft fibreglass replica of the comedian’s head, originally created for a Walker’s Crisps advert, ended last week with a few bids, but none that matched the reserve price of £3,000.

So now Ribble Reclamation, the Preston recycling yard that is trying to sell the model to raise money for local social welfare charity Recycling Lives, has relisted it with a lower reserve – a snip at just £1,200.

A spokeswoman said the business was hopeful of raising at least that much as previous bids reached around £1,500.
