Gary Barlow will headline his first solo shows since 1999 to raise money for disadvantaged young people.
All money raised will be donated to charity, with the Prince’s Trust receiving 65 per cent of the proceeds and the Foundation for Prince William and Prince Harry receiving 35 per cent.
Barlow said he decided to raise funds for the charities because they, “are both doing great work with young people and I liked the idea of recognising the whole family”.
He is a long-time supporter of the Prince’s Trust and earlier this year donated the proceeds of a concert he organised to celebrate his 40th birthday.
The money raised for the Prince’s Trust will support the charity’s UK City Riot Appeal.
Martina Milburn, chief executive of the Prince’s Trust said: “Today, our work with disadvantaged young people is more relevant than ever – with riots in our cities and the number of jobless young people at a record high.”
The X Factor judge will perform at the Royal Albert Hall on 5 and 6 December and will be supported on both nights by singer/songwriter sisters the Pierces.
Tickets will go on sale on 28 October priced at £40, £55, £65, £95 available from Ticketmaster, Gigs and Tours, Stargreen and the Royal Albert Hall.
Barlow is also raising money for Children in Need by organising a one-off concert in Manchester which will include performances from Lady Gaga, Coldplay and N-Dubz.
The Take That star also formed a new supergroup, the Collective (which consists of N-Dubz, Rizzle Kicks, Ed Sheeran, Wretch 32, Tinchy Stryder, Ms Dynamite, Chipmunk, Mz Bratt and Dot Rotton) to record a cover of the Massive Attack song Teardrop as this year’s Children in Need charity single.
