'Jim Myers is an independent philanthropy adviser, specialising in cross-border fundraising and operational issues for not-for-profits. He also serves as a board member of a prominent Irish-based NGO.
Jim founded what is now known as the European Association for Philanthropy and Giving in 1998 to provide a network to bring professional advisers, financial intermediaries and charity fundraisers together around topical tax and legal issues in domestic and cross-border philanthropy.
Prior to establishing EAPG, Jim co-founded and developed an international tax institute. Although American by birth, he has lived almost all of his adult life in Europe, mostly in France and the UK.
