David Emerson

David Emerson

David Emerson is chief executive of the Association of Charitable Foundations, the membership body for the UK’s charitable trusts and grantmaking foundations.

His experience includes working for the NCVO’s then-rural department; as a performer, stage manager, and production manager for theatre shows in the West End and abroad; and running the trade association for regional theatre in the UK.

He is married to Baroness Jill Pitkeathley, life peer and chair of Cafcass.
