Becky Slack is a freelance writer specialising in civil society and government topics.  Most recently she has been writing regularly for Civil Service World, the magazine for senior civil servants. Her last permanent post was as launch editor of Charity Insight magazine and she also spent two and a half years as editor of Professional Fundraising magazine (now Fundraising). 

In amongst these jobs she spent two years as a senior corporate partnerships fundraiser at the British Red Cross.

Slack previously worked in television and radio production for broadcasters including the BBC and Australia’s Seven Network.
