Paul Marvell

Paul Marvell is director of learning at the Institute of Fundraising and sits on the trustee board of Child Hope.

He began his career in the sector in 1993 joining RNIB's fundraising team after a career in retail training.

In December 2000 Paul joined the Red Cross as head of regional fundraising, and took over the post of head of major donors and events four years later in October 2004.

He has also been director of fundraising and communications at the African Medical & Research Foundation and has served as the chair of the Institute of Fundraising Professional Development Committee.
