Fundraising consultant
Giles Pegram is an independent fundraising consultant.
Prior to taking up consultancy work, Pegram was director of fundraising at NSPCC from which post he retired in April 2010 after 30 years at the charity. During his time at NSPCC Pegram has overseen the £15m Centenary Appeal in 1984 and the Full Stop Appeal which raised more than £250m between 1999 and 2007.
Pegram began fundraising at school when he set up an Oxfam group. Before the NSPCC he worked for Oxfam and Help the Aged. He was nominated UK Professional Fundraiser of the Year in 1994, and received the Lifetime Achievement in Fundraising award at the Professional Fundraising Awards in 2002.
