Fundraising | Lucy Harvey | 22 Jan 2009

Today I am happily basking in the glow of yesterday’s PF DigiComms conference, so firstly my warm thanks to all of our speakers, delegates, and exhibitors who made the event so enjoyable and interesting - and to the Plaza events team who never fail to impress me.

As a result I am quite literally brimming with ideas for features for the magazine. There are so many new approaches and ways of exploiting the potential of the web – and so much of it is free! And by sharing their experiences charities can really learn and grow. I am convinced that many of the ideas we learned about yesterday will be acted upon, and I look forward to seeing the results.

As Bertie Bosredon from Breast Cancer Care so rightly said, for charities the risk is not in taking action and trying new things, it is in NOT trying new things.

For those of you who were not able to attend the conference but would still like to benefit, please join our Facebook group (Professional Fundraising magazine), find us on Twitter (PFmagazine) and keep reading our blogs, website and, of course, the magazine.

And do please let us know what you find useful, and what new ideas you introduce.

Exciting times!

Ah, but if Lucy listed it all here right now, Peter, we'd have nothing to look forward to when the next PF comes out!

If are so many new approaches and ways of exploiting the potential of the web, why haven't you detailed a few of them?
